See the Alexander McQueen Exhibit

Alexander McQueen Exhibit, Metropolitan Museum of Art (82nd and 5th)

I can't express enough how incredible and inspiring this exhibit was; highlights include EVERYTHING. The wait takes about 40 minutes, but it's so worth it--I could have stayed there for hours. He did so much with fashion that I would have never thought possible, and the way he showed his pieces was often avant-garde: a hologram of Kate Moss modeling his dress, models moving across a chess board, a model in a red dress in the middle of a ring of fire, models standing behind a one-way mirror...the list goes on and on. The head pieces and shoes were also so innovative. I can't describe how amazing it was, so see it yourself--but soon, because the exhibit closes August 7th!
